Marie-Soleil Dion, New Spokesperson for Tel-jeunes

Actress and host Marie-Soleil Dion becomes the new spokesperson for Tel-jeunes, an alliance of heart and conviction aimed at supporting young people and their parents in facing mental health challenges.

An Authentic and Committed Voice

A beloved figure in Quebec television, Marie-Soleil Dion brings her humor and authenticity to this cause. Having become a mother, she demonstrates particular empathy towards adolescent and parental realities.

"When you become a parent, all you wish for is that your child has access to resources and a network to support them during difficult times," she confides. She thus wishes to contribute in her own way and remind young people and parents alike: "you are never alone ".

Crucial Support in the Face of Youth Needs

In a context where distress is intensifying and requests for help are multiplying (on Tel-jeunes lines, a 25% increase in requests was noted for the start of the 2025 school year compared to 2024), Marie-Soleil Dion’s commitment is more relevant than ever.

Her role will help raise awareness and mobilize more people around the reality of today's adolescents.

Annie Papageorgiou, Executive Director of Tel-jeunes and its Foundation, emphasizes that Marie-Soleil fully embodies the organization's values: "Her kindness, her understanding of mental health issues, and her sincere desire to be there for young people and their parents make her a valuable ally".

Tel-jeunes invites the public to unite and contribute to a more aware and supportive society regarding the mental health challenges of new generations.
