2024-2025 Annual Report: Listening to Quebec's Youth, Today and Tomorrow
Our 2024-2025 annual report is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the teenagers of Quebec. Discover how, day after day, we adapt to the realities of young people to offer them attentive listening and personalized support in a constantly changing world.
A Passing of the Torch Marked by Continuity
After years dedicated to the well-being of young people, Céline Muloin, founder of Tel-jeunes, has taken a well-deserved retirement. Her unwavering commitment and vision have enabled the organization to become an essential resource for Quebec teenagers.
Today, Annie Papageorgiou takes over the reins with the same passion and determination. Her expertise and background demonstrate a deep commitment to youth and suggest a bright future for Tel-jeunes.
Meeting the Growing Needs of a Generation in Search of Guidance
Today's youth face unprecedented challenges, and the demand for mental health support services continues to grow.
Tel-jeunes is at the forefront of this reality and is seeing a significant increase in interventions related to anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.
Parents, often overwhelmed by the situation, are also turning to the organization for support and resources. Faced with these alarming findings, Tel-jeunes continues to adapt its service offer to meet the evolving needs of young people and their families.
Creating Connections Wherever Young People Are
A pioneer in digital support, Tel-jeunes leverages technology to reach young people where they are.
Chat, discussion forums, podcasts, classroom workshops... Our team multiplies initiatives to offer accessible listening that is adapted to the realities of teenagers.
But we are also committed to creating tangible connections with young people. The very first Tj Tour, which travelled throughout Quebec to meet with over 600 teenagers, illustrates this desire for a proactive and human approach that helps build trust in young people and in us.
A Promising Future Thanks to a Committed Community
Tel-jeunes can count on an exceptional community of donors, volunteers, employees, and partners who contribute daily to the well-being of young people.
The Tel-jeunes Foundation has also had a record year in terms of generosity, raising a historic $2 million to help Tel-jeunes continue its mission.
This annual report reflects the hard work of our teams, the generosity of our donors, and the unwavering commitment of our volunteers. Together, we form a strong and supportive community that mobilizes every day to offer Quebec's youth a brighter future
